Um, somehow this is really creepy. If he were going back down to bang his wife it would be mildly funny, but the fact that it seems like it’s trying to be sweet and touching as well ass hilariously violent is just.. weird.

Often times these strips are a puzzle that need to be figured out from multiple readings. The link between the man in the coffin and in the cloud isn’t exactly clear (they don’t look enough alike and are in different contexts without a lot of establishment) The art isn’t always consistent.
Sometimes I wonder if the requirement of having to “get” the strip is its appeal and charm. The comments section has a lot of “I don’t get it.”
