eyes squintin in frame two. Looks like mr woodlice needs more fibre in his diet… Love the way there is always a small detail to enhance the story. Keep it up!

ok, for all the non-entomologists out there…
The wood louce is hanging out in his crapper doing his thing, when some aspiring entomologist rips off the roof of his house to take a closer look at him. Disgruntled, as one might be having experienced this… he takes a pop-shot at the person now observing through microscopy at him intently, whilst taking said dump.
I found it hilarious because I’ve joked about the insects point of view during collections before. Especially when saving one particular bug from a mating act.

PS:
flipping the final two frames, creating the observer as the beat-panel maybe makes more since to you?

Thanks JC for your explanation. Unfortunately that’s what I thought this comic meant too, but I really didn’t find it funny or clever so I was hoping that I missed something. Most of the previous ones have set much higher standards. Oh well, I guess I’ll wait for the next one …in about 8 months.
there’ll be another sooner than that

Tzek,
They can’t all be “X-ray spec LeForge in 10 forward”, which to this day I chuckle about everytime I see ANY startrek rerun. I found this one funny for the same reason I chuckle at a lot of them, they can be thinkers. kinda like the old far sides. and that’s sayin’ something I should think.
Sweet.
